The first Tomorrowland Music Festival was organized in 2005 with a two day weekend festival, which instantly gained world recognition with some performers included Technoboy, Push (M.I.K.E), and Yves Deruyter.
It was in 2011 that the festival expanded to three days receiving a great response only after a few days the tickets were sold out with over 180,000 visitors. But that was not the only impressive move, in 2014 on their 10th year anniversary of the festival expanded to two weekends with same line-up on both days selling out the tickets in a record breaking time.
