It would be exactly like Miami’s Ultra Music Festival: a huge, full-throttle, electronic dance dreamland.
In 2019, Ultra will be creating another electronic music heaven from March 29th – 31th, in the gorgeous Bayfront Park in downtown Miami, Florida.
They have established their planetary fame by creating an out-of-this-world ambiance and bringing in world-class musicians such as Deadmau5, Hardwell, and Martin Garrix.
2017 for example was a great success, with unprecedented DJ’s such as Armin Van Buuren, Jamie Jones, Robin Schulz, Afrojack, Dubfire, and nearly 100 others all spread across 8 breathtaking venues.
The acts… maybe this is the best lineup you will see in all 2020. Afrojack, Prydz, Armin, you name it. See the third lineup phase below:
Armin Van Buuren headlined in the 2018 edition, with AfroJack, Dj Snake, and all the great ones. The big story of Ultra Miami 2018 was the reunion of Swedish House Mafia for the first time after their breakup. The people who were lucky enough to be there have a memory for life. This March, put your life on hold and escape to a utopian wonderland in beautiful Miami. With visual displays so extraordinary your eye’s won’t be able to stand it, and dance music so good your body won’t be able to resist it.
Ultra Music Festival. . . You won’t be able to regret it.
– Many people report that their favorite DJ sets of the festival were of musicians they had never heard of; musicians that they accidentally happened upon when wandering around. Being that Ultra brings in the best EDM talent from all over the world, all of the sets you will encounter are bound to be delicious. By not venturing out and staying in your familiarity bubble, you could seriously miss out on your actual favorite DJ set.
As with most events, by the last day the port-a-potties may be looking less than favorable. On the southwest corner of the festival, there will be an abundance of favorable restrooms to enjoy. Here’s another tip: don’t just wait in line for the first one you see, venture deep within the restroom area, that’s where you will find toilets that have seldom been used- the pristine thrones.
Ultra has a special requirement that all backpacks must be translucent. That means clear, see-through plastic, mesh. . . you get the idea. As strange as it may seem, they do this to look out for your safety. So, to prevent an awkward entry, show up prepared with a translucent bag.

March 13, 1999 was Ultra Music Festival’s first ever event. Produced by partners Russell Faibisch and Alex Omes, and located at Collins Park with musical performances by Rabbit in the Moon, Josh Wink, and Paul van Dyk, it wasn’t a soaring success; they unfortunately lost money. Nevertheless, they learned and persisted.
From the next year on, they started to soar. Now, Ultra spans over 3 days with over 165,000 attendees, and has become reputable as one of the top electronic and dance music festivals out there. As well, other Ultra festivals now take place all over the world, from Ibiza, to Tokyo, to Croatia, to Rio de Janeiro- it is highly regarded by all corners of the globe.
